The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT Ghana) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ocean Network Express Ghana Ltd (ONE) for a partnership in the CILT Africa Forum 2022.
The Africa Forum is a major continental event for CILT, organized annually and rotated among the African member countries. Postponed from 2021 to 2022 due to the Covid – 19 pandemic, the Forum provides a platform for governments, corporate organisations, individuals and students to share, learn and promote professional and business interests.
ONE is a global container shipping company established in 2018, with its headquarters in Singapore. The 6th largest container carrier in the world, ONE offers an extensive liner network service covering over 100 countries including Ghana.
The MoU was signed on behalf of CILT by Mr. Mark Amoamah, President and Mr. Lackson Legah, Vice President – Finance whilst Mr. Michael Cooper, Managing Director and Mrs. Cecile Norgaard, Deputy General Manager signed on behalf of ONE.
The agreement highlights the role of Ocean Network Express Ghana Ltd as the Lead Sponsor of the Forum. Both organizations have pledged their committment to ensuring that the contents of the agreement are carried out to the letter for mutual benefits.
