The President of CILT Ghana, Engr. Mark Amoamah yesterday (June 27, 2022) led a CILT delegation to the national launch of Business Resource Centres (BRCs) by the Ministry of Trade and Industry at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The delegation comprised Mr. Nlaliban Wujangi, Executive Secretary, Mr. Frank Osei, Administrative Officer, Mr. Herbert Banini, Accounts Officer and other members of the Institute.
The Honourable Minister of Trade and Industry launched the BRCs. In attendance were the Ministers of Information, Lands and Natural Resources. Also in attendance were the Deputy Ministers of Finance, Trade and Industry and Transport.
The BRCs are jointly funded by IFAD and AFDB and under the supervision of the Ghana Enterprises Agency under the leadership of CEO of Mrs. Kosi Yankey Ayeh.
The BRCs are one-stop enterprise support centres in the Metropolitan. Municipal and District Assemblies, designed to deliver a broad range of Business Development Services (BDS) to potential and existing entrepreneurs and enterprises. They also operate as investment hubs and information repositories for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. They will be run by private organizations in a bid to make them self sustaining.
